My Real Estate Strategy?

Preparation + Opportunity = Luck

After being in real estate since 2011, I know that homes are more than just an investment. They are a window into the life you hope to live one day and your plans for the future. This is why I believe that the right home can’t be bought on a whim, and the perfect place looks different to everyone.

For me, real estate is about making decisions that further your goals. Forget about commission, forget about what’s hot “today,” and instead focus on how your new home decision will impact the future you. To have this kind of conversation, you need an agent who is prepared to help you with honesty and your best interests top of mind.

I do this with a strategy I have based my life around: combining preparation with the right opportunity.

| Preparation

When I was in my early 20’s, I went through a divorce, lost our shared home to a short sale during the Great Recession, and briefly lived in my car. While buying a new home wasn’t on my mind at that time, I knew I needed to begin preparing for my future goals.

So I worked three jobs (property management, real estate assistant, and cleaning houses) while going to college full time. Once I earned my real estate license, I worked 60-80 hours a week for 3 years before I was able to save enough money to buy my very own first home (a cosmetic fixer-upper for a good price.)

That experience gave me the confidence to invest in other properties and take calculated risks using equity. The growth I experienced during that time of my life has made me the woman, investor, and realtor that I am today. I had found my calling… all by preparing for the future life that I knew I wanted. It is my goal to help others realize their home dreams, as well.

| Opportunity

Once you have adequately prepared for the home of your dreams, the search for opportunity begins. (And trust me, I am no stranger to opportunity!)

I ranked as a top producer at Coldwell Banker Bain from 2016-2020

I qualified as a top producer on the #1 Team at Coldwell Banker Bain from 2015-2020

I was among the top 1% of brokers at Coldwell Banker Bain from 2015-2020

The thing about opportunity is when it comes knocking, you need to be prepared to answer! The years of preparation allowed me to act when the opportunity presented itself. Now, I am always prepared to help clients recognize their own opportunities when they present themselves.
